History of Duplicated Quotes

Handling reorders quickly with the duplicate quote feature is super helpful, but it's sometimes time consuming to find where the original info came from if it's a high volume customer with a lot of orders between the new quote and the quote that was duplicated.
Would it be possible to add a line to the history of a quote when that quote is created as a duplicate from a previous order?
It would be a super helpful thing to have the record of if it's something you can do :)
"Quote #10953 was duplicated from ... ORIGINAL QUOTE/INVOICE NUMBER"
"Quote #10953 was created ... by PERSON ... DATE"

This would be super helpful - as would putting the year in the customer invoice history.

Linda Bruno We worked around it by changing the quote numbering on the beginning of the year. This time it was 260001 since we have more than 1000 and less then 10000 quotes a year

Josip Vrban Lumer Print&Shop - Interesting work around and great idea. It would be even better if we didn't have to keep coming up with work arounds for something that should be an easy fix!
