Creation & Production Date

I like the idea of automatically populating the Production Due Date, but wouldn't every shop have a different standard lead time? Some shops might be 3 days, others 2 weeks, and others 3-4 weeks depending on their workflow.
Having it automatically default to 2 weeks could create more work or cause mistakes for shops that don't use that timeline.
It would make more sense if each shop could set their own default production lead time in their account settings, and then Printavo could automatically calculate the Production Due Date based on that. That way it would work for everyone's workflow instead of assuming the same lead time for every shop. I'm not even sure if that's possible.

I think a helpful auto date would be a production date, but instead of based on the "creation" date, make it based on the customer due date. That way if the customer has a firm date, we know that our production date must be "3 working days" prior or something to ensure there is time for error or shipping issues. If it goes off creation date, it may not work if client doesn't approve something in time or if there is a firm date that is less than 2 weeks. Just a thought.

A custom Production due date population would be great. We could change it as needed seasonally.

I agree, this would be helpful.

If we could set up per customer, it would be awesome.
