Yes, we have it automatically added to every invoice then have to manually remove it when paid w/debit, check or cash - very annoying! Not to mention the percentage is only figured on the total of items - it doesn't included things like fees or tax. It's a cc fee it should be applied to the WHOLE/TOTAL invoice since that's the amount that the customer is paying with their credit card. The fees we get charged that we're trying to recoup are for the total so....

Also, if Inksoft uses the same processing company as Printavo and on Inksoft the fee can be automatically charged at checkout only when they're using a credit card then why haven't you figured out how to do the same in Printavo?!

This original post is from 2018 and now in 2026 it still hasn't been taken care of! I'm guessing there are more of this same request that haven't even been merged here because recouping cc fees is a BIG thing now. Please can you finally do something for us

We also need the option to add a credit card fee. It would be amazing if it was included if the client selects "Pay by Card" but is absent if they issue a check or bank transfer.

It would also be able to set perimeters such as the % amount, and over under limiter that allows for customization and an editable explanation/warning about the additional fee.

This would be useful for sure. The way credit card fees work now is useless because even if you put a fee on, it doesn't apply to the total. It's like the product designers don't understand the business. We have fees for screens. fees for digitizing. fees for art. shipping. the customer pays these, yet the credit card % doesn't apply to them.

This has been requested for years and they did half of it by allowing percentage based fees.
